EMAIL YOUR HOUSE REPRESENTATIVES AND ASK THEM TO KILL SB17, OR AMEND THE BILL TO SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY PROTECTS THE SOUTH DAKOTA RESIDENTS! To actually protect SD residents, they should consult with residents WHO LIVE in their District (who do not profit off this business), or expert volunteers who do not profit off their volunteered time, but definitely NOT A PAID LOBBYIST. If you’ve been to one of our presentations, watched a video or read an article, you know South Dakota has a major problem. Lack of oversight and vague laws are allowing people to take advantage of residency, and the voter rolls are wide open to fraud due to the lack of enforcement of the law, and the dirty little secret that the legislature is fully aware of.

This article was published in 2019, discussing the issues of mail forwarding services. The title of the article says “Voters don’t live where they register.” It’s a well known fact, not a conspiracy. (Read it, it’s eye opening) At that time:

About 60,000 out-of-state vehicles are registered in South Dakota, according to Wade LaRoche, a spokesman for the state Department of Revenue. Meanwhile, revenues from vehicle title and registration fees have doubled over the past decade, from $88.3 million in 2009 to $176.7 million in 2018, LaRoche said.

That’s a nice chunk of change for the state. The fact is, those in power don’t want to lose the money so they’d rather shove election security issues under the rug. Thanks to the watchful eyes of the citizens, that isn’t going to work any more.

The article also discusses the issue of perjury. Perjury - which is punishable with a $4,000 fine and 2 years in jail. However, if you visit the Federal Statutes, the level of these crimes increase to felonies punishable by $10,000 fine and 5 years in jail.

Our group has obtained hundreds upon hundreds of original voter registration forms with over a 90% perjury rate. We presented this evidence to Sheriff’s, DCI, Auditors, County Commissions, Secretary of State, and NO ONE DOES ANYTHING ABOUT IT. We have pulled city and county zoning ordinances on commercial addresses where thousands claim residence, but the ordinance clearly states YOU CAN NOT LIVE THERE.

There are new mail forwarding services popping up all over South Dakota, and the existing ones continue to grow at an astounding rate. Currently, 514 America’s Way, Box Elder has over 14,000 voters registered to a campground with 90 sites, and grows every day. How does a legislator who has 14,000 people who don’t live in their district carry an equal load?

Why? Because people like to take advantage of low vehicle registration fees, wheel tax, and claim residency for income tax and banking purposes. As there are many CPA’s and Tax Professionals who have reviewed this; we believe many states are being defrauded out of income tax based on this racket. And the “Republican” led legislature continues to turn a blind eye. No federal or state law allows for a person to throw a dart at a map to pick a voting residence. If you go out of the country, to the military, or decide to travel - the only place a voter is entitled to register is WHERE THEY PREVIOUSLY RESIDED.

Meanwhile, ballot issues such as Marijuana, Abortion, and Open Primaries are coming; and only those who LIVE IN SOUTH DAKOTA should be weighing in on those issues. These are South Dakota issues, that should not be diluted with votes by those who actually live in Colorado.

Yet, this bill is dangerously close to opening the door to ANYONE to vote, which will in turn disenfranchise the local taxpaying resident who works, lives, send their kids to school, and funds the economy with sales and property tax.

Last year SB139 attempted to add a 30-day residency requirement. This has not been enforced from day 1. With Monae Johnson’s SB17 - the first draft stripped the 30 days and attempted to make it retroactive to 7/1/2023 to cover their non-compliance!

THEN - the unelected Board of Elections STRIPPED THE VOTER REGISTRATION FORM affidavit of “I actually live at and have no present intention of leaving the above address.” to further cover up the FRAUD. If you aren’t FUMING MAD by now, you should be!

We believe this is in direct response to the massive amount of perjury presented to law enforcement. This is in the tens of thousands. Tens of THOUSANDS of fraudulent voter registration forms allowed into your voting district FOR MONEY! Think about that.

The sacrifice of our great forefathers, the blood shed for our freedoms, the service of our selfless veterans, SOLD OUT FOR MONEY. This is the gut wrenching reality of your “republican” led legislature, and the total sell out Monae Johnson. Monae didn’t run on election integrity, she conned us all into believing her and now she is actively working against everything she promised to do.

Secretary Johnson, you should resign right now. You are a disgrace. A fraud. A failure. Shame on you.

Finally:

• Claiming to live in a PO Box or a commercial building is perjury.

• Falsifying a voter registration form as to a residence is a felony. 

• The NVRA provides for an actual location of the voter so he may be placed in the voting precinct in which he resides.

• Military and Overseas Voters are exempt to residency requirements provided in UOCAVA.  None of these arguments as to disenfranchising the military apply.

• The Federal Voter Registration guide requires proof of residency and specifically states: DO NOT list a PO BOX.  - Attached - read pages 2 and 3. 

• Homeless are also covered by Federal Law by providing the location of their shelter on a map.  

• Residency requirements are not unconstitutional.

Every auditor who has allowed massive fraud in this manner in their county has committed grievous offenses that are punishable by misdemeanors, felonies, and removal from office. Look it up.
