Almost a year ago today, the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition came up on our radar.
A quick review of the South Dakota Advisory Committee revealed big names in business, economic development, and the most notorious RINO’s in the legislature, along with Secretary of State, Monae Johnson.
Johnson lists being nominated to USGLC as an accomplishment highlighted in her press release for re-election campaign.
USGLC claims to keep us safe, save lives, and strengthen economies through “America’s leadership in the world, through smart and effective investments in development and diplomacy, advances our interests at home and abroad.”
The home page proudly displays the faces of their leading voices. Not exactly a list of conservative heroes.
As usual, timing is everything. We started another deep dive into USGLC early this week, and found Data Republican posted an in-depth thread on X investigating none other than USGLC. This thread is a MUST READ.
What We Do
Data Republican reveals USGLC is tied to a network of 400 NGO’s, which are funded in part by the State Department and USAID. If you’ve been following along at all, the NGO network is where the money laundering is at. The Trump administration shut down USAID, which cut the money flow to a lot of the globalist organizations that promote “democracy” but actually follow Marxist ideology.
U.S. Senator Mike Rounds hosted the USGLC Heartland Summit in Mitchell, SD this week. You can watch it HERE. Listen carefully to the words used and the messaging. What key words do you hear? Rounds mentions the need for consistency when supporting foreign nations in reference to cuts in USAID, and that he believes President Trump will reconsider his stance on tariffs.
Recently retired SOUTHCOM Commander General Laura Richardson joined the panel to reinforce the national security benefits of international assistance: “In terms of the aid and the money and the funding that’s been cut, I am very much for review, but not retreat… The resourcing that goes into other countries to help them defend against their threats creates a bubble around us, the United States. It’s in our national security interests.” Gen. Richardson also talks about vaccines, and their importance globally.
Without saying it outright, these people are lamenting the loss of the taxpayer funded USAID gravy train, and the challenges it presents to USGLC as their main source of funding for their soft power and smart power agenda.
As we read through Data Republican’s thread, George Soros and Bill Gates are the biggest backers of USGLC. Top leaders include Hillary Clinton, Google execs, Catholic Relief charity board members, AIPAC directors, Pfizer, Disney, GAVI (Bill Gates Vaccine Alliance) Chemonics (privatized CIAand more on this NGO towards the end of this article). Read the thread and you will see they lobbied congress for a $95B spending bill and the Inflation Reduction Act.
USGLC lobbies for humanitarian aid, refugee resettlement and global health initiatives, all mechanisms for maintaining their soft power worldwide.

We especially would like to know who appointed Monae Johnson and why the South Dakota Secretary of State would need to be a part of a Soros funded global government group? Which NGO’s are they board members for? What global initiatives are they pushing in South Dakota?
What a coincidence…. the Consortium for Elections, National Endowment for Democracy, and International Foundation for Elections. What are the chances these globalists have an interest in the outcome of elections (s-elections)?
Representative Liz May posted an article on her investigations into the USDA and FACA funding of NGO’s such as The Nature Conservancy. The Nature Conservancy just happens to be a Coalition Member of the Diplomatic Circle of the USGLC. The Nature Conservancy is tied to the federal land grab of the Maude family ranch.

Most in South Dakota know him BUT…from Wikipedia…Mark Alexander Vargo (born July 29, 1963) is an American lawyer and politician who served as the 32nd Attorney General of South Dakota. In June 2022, he was appointed by Governor Kristi Noem to fill the vacancy created by Jason Ravnsborg's impeachment and removal from office. He previously served as the State's Attorney of Pennington County, South Dakota, having left the position in April 2023.

The South Dakota Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Training Commission is a commission in the Office of the Attorney General that sets minimum standards and training requirements for law enforcement officers in South Dakota. The 13-member commission also hears and decides hearings involving law enforcement certification.
“Former Attorney General Vargo understands the importance of law enforcement certification when it comes to protecting the public,” said Attorney General Jackley. “Law enforcement that the public can trust is vital, and former Attorney General Vargo will provide the advice for the commission to make informed decisions.”
After having served as both an assistant U.S. Attorney for South Dakota and as Pennington County State’s Attorney, Vargo was named South Dakota Attorney General by Gov. Kristi Noem on June 28, 2022. He served until Attorney General Jackley, who was elected to the post in the November 2022 election, took office in January, 2023.
Attorney General Jackley appointed former Attorney General Vargo as an Assistant Attorney General to work on training and special prosecutions. The appointment was made official Dec. 31, 2024.

The Rapid City Journal reported Wednesday that a disproportionate percentage of missing people in South Dakota are indigenous. They make up only 9% of the state’s population but 60% of people listed on the state’s missing person’s clearinghouse.
The council consists of advocates, prosecutors and law enforcement representatives for the Bureau of Indian Affairs, tribal and state agencies as well as state lawmakers.
